If something stops me from riding my bike in the winter it’s cold hands. Your body warms up as you ride, but the hands and face tend to be the opposite. Wearing big bulky gloves just doesn’t cut it for me.
That’s what prompted me to ask Trish at Norco about reviewing some winter gear.

Around Christmas I received a package containing a pair of gloves and a jersey.
At first glance I thought there must be a mistake.   The items looked really slick, but more appropriate for summer wear.    One ride on a frigid day proved me wrong.

Cryogen gloves  - $55.00 A MUST HAVE FOR WINTER RIDERS!!

The gloves do not look or feel any different than I normally wear but certainly kept my hands warm at all times.    I’m a one-finger-on-the-brake type of guy so I thought this would be a challenge on feeling the brake lever and modulation.  But within minutes of riding I forgot I was wearing gloves!   Mace is famous for making products for the active progressive rider that not only perform well but also make you want to ride and feel stylish. These gloves are a perfect example of Mace’s commitment to the rider.

Well made, plenty of reinforcements and double stitching in the palm and thumb area without reducing feeling contact with the grips, uses 3M Thinsulate flex liner for cold weather comfort - Longer, warmer thermal cuff for added winter protection - New 3D TPR armour for protection - 100% Cotton terry for sweat absorption

They come in Black-Grey and Navy-Grey, sizes S-M-L-XL

Thermal Glock - $89.00 Perfect thermal layer for cooler days rides

Features  Brushed 4 way stretch Polyester Lycra - Keeps you warm, but doesn't restrict movement - silk-screened graphics

The Thermal Glock Jersey was another surprise.  While the word “thermal” automatically makes me think “bulky,” this lightweight garment manages to deliver winter warmth while allowing the body to breathe.   The design is clean and simple with effective logo placement on top left chest area and small logo on the back shoulder.  Quadruple lines of stitching keep the four panel sleeves together to allow reinforcement while maintaining mobility.  The design is another signature to Mace’s close attention to detail, style and practicality.
  comes in sizes S-M-L-XL-XXL
